Vavenby Volunteer Fire Department works together with other departments to provide emergency services in the North Thompson Valley. The Vavenby Volunteer Fire Department works together with other departments to provide emergency services in the North Thompson Valley and currently has 25 members serving. The department has one open house for the community during the year on May 11.
