The first Psychic Fair in Clearwater took place this past weekend, April 13 through 14 at the Clearwater Elk’s Hall. Local yoga instructor Alyssa Arndt had the vision for it and did an amazing job of bringing it to fruition.

“I was inspired from going to previous spiritual events and the community that I felt going there, that feeling of community was very important to bring back home to Clearwater. We didn’t have any spiritual events going on around this area and the idea kept coming back to me … even after canceling the event I had emails from people wanting to come. The universe made that push as well so I decided it was happening,” Arndt shared.

She managed to find several card readers, a palm reader, a local psychic-astrologer and some creators of beautiful jewelry and print products. Privacy for readings was achieved through sheer curtains hung from the ceiling, that separated each section. Local gift shop Mystic Dreams offered a variety of items for sale. There was a little something for everyone, in an ambiance of peaceful openness.

I was thrilled when I got the text from Alyssa, inviting me to be a part of the fair. Not only for the opportunity to meet like-minded people, but also because it showed me that - as the astrology has been telling us - we, as a collective, are indeed making more room for the return of the mystical aspects of ourselves.

Any sincere spiritual teacher will tell you that we are all psychic, in that we all have access to the knowledge that is available to us in the higher dimensions. If you’re curious about that, start the journey. The time is right for all of us to be expanding and raising our awareness. There’s so much more to life than what the physical eyes can see. I was able share this message by selling many copies of my book: ‘Safe, Loved and Free’ and my CD: ‘Everyone can meditate’, as well as offer card readings myself. It was a beautiful opportunity to put myself out there in a new way and offer a new perspective to those who were open to it. We were all very grateful to Alyssa Arndt for creating that space. It was so well-attended that we were all pretty wiped by the end of it, but the decision to do it again was unanimous.

“Although it is a lot of work, I had a feeling, a vision, and faith that this is what I was meant to be doing, and it was a great success. We are all looking forward to next year’s event,” Arndt reflected, with a radiant smile.
